Ryoko:This is for the 's Summer Contest
I did this with ink for the girls outlines and then the rest is entirely in color pencil! I worked really hard on the background. My hand got so tired from this! A lot of the poses came from how to draw manga books, but the girls' clothes were from that one ending. The background was mainly from my mind. I then looked up reference for the sand and the sky.
I really liked how this came out! I like my rocks!

Sakura I had limebarb can. It should be coming! It was too hard. Syaoran is almost done. We need to finish the goggles, and his black strap things. And cut the sleeves off a shirt...

I really like the lighting in this pic! The sunset background looks great, and then you reflect the light with the complex shading on all of the characters' skin. I think sometimes the shading colors get a little muddled or a little too intense, but overall I think it works really well! I think the shading looks best on Hinata and TenTen, and I also like their poses the most, though I really like how you drew Ino kinda leaning on Sakura's shoulders like that. : ) Sakura's sitting pose looks pretty good, though her leg looks a little odd at her knee. Hinata's shape looks really well done, too.
I think Sakura's expression is kinda silly, though...

Yeah I know they got murky sometimes. I needed better paper for the color pencils. It didn't want to saturate anymore.

Well, the rest of them are all marvelling/looking at/taking in the sunset, while Sakura is kinda just looking over somewhere else blankly.
Yeah, I'm coming to realize that paper is important in drawings.
