Well I sketch everything out first in blue, then I do finished pencils over it, starting with foreground and work my way back.

Hey Ryan, hows it going, I follow you on tumblr and see folks asking you up a few questions here and there...so I figure I sling one here on DA since my tumblr account is to fresh to ask questions....
When you ink large areas, do you use a brush like you do when you line..digital...or other medium...reason I ask is because im having a warping issue with my Bristol..first thoughts are that the board may be to thin but I was just curious if you might have some input...Thanks man.

There is always some warping when using lots of ink. I've found when using a brush dipped in ink that it warps worse. I now just use Kuretake brush pens, they aren't overloaded with ink. Takes a little longer to fill in areas though.

Oh yes, I inked myself for years, i meant lately. The last issue I inked fully was issue 88. I try to pencil tight when I'm not inking.

in this day and age where artists can't complete a 3 issue story arc, it is an honor and a privilege to see you not only continue thru the years on invincible, but to watch you get better and better.
