Description Yesss!! I FINALLY got something done!!!!! gosh, took me long enough!! sorry about that! I have had a severe drawers block for a while there, nearly drove me to madness!!

Anyway, this is for ~BlackLusterSolidier cause she's just so darn nice!!!! (Sorry it took soooo long!)

And for those heathens who don't know, this is TOSHI!!! He was the Vocalist for the greatest band EVER X Japan!!! Gotta love the man, even though he went all sappy and turned to yellow sweaters and cheesy stuff like that....but DON'T BE FOOL!! It's just an act!! just when we think we have it figured out, he'll catch us off guard and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! bwahahaha....yes i know i'm insane!!

Did this in pencil, photo reference used.....darkened it a bit on the comp cause my scanner screws up everything it touches...

lol I'm going to have to try hard not to fave everything in your gallery. But this, THIS is where it's at because Toshi is like a superhero to me. Hahah XD. Anyway, this looks awesome! I love the dramatic lighting in this picture, you did a great job with the strong contrast between light and dark. It looks JUST like him too! I love all the values of grey. You're good at both coloured and black and white portraits! Keep it up! Toshhhiiiiii yessssss. Haha. <3

OMFG this is sooo beautiful O_O I know a lot of people who love X-Japan dont' like Toshi, but damn it, he was the vocalist xD I LOVE his voice. Sure he disbanned them all x_x;; but.. T__T He's still beautiful to me! I love how you shaded this, DAMN this is totally amazing O_O Toshi rocks, and it's soooo GREAT to actually see fanart of him xD This is sooo nice, keep up the spectacular job :3

I KNOW! I love Toshi no matter how cheesy he's become! His voice is so awesome, even when he was singing those horrifically cheesy love songs he wrote!

I'm having a hard time deciding what my favourite part is... it's just too hard! XD
I really love the lips. They look so damn real and the lighting is incredible. So are the eyes. And the face shading is so accurate and beautiful... I'm so damn impressed XD!
I think the dark of it is good, better to be too dark than too weak I suppose. The line on the right side of his nose seems a little unneeded - the rest of the shading displays perfectly the shape of his nose afterall!
