A paid commission for the generous completed 2 months ago. I figured it’s alright to post your commissions after seeing that you allowed your other commissioners to do so and you seemed alright when I asked you over notes so long ago. If you don't want them posted just say so, and I'll take them down.An illustration, based on a classic story of forbidden love. Two lovers meet in their secret meeting place in a forest, to revel in their shared love of music under penalty of imprisonment.

It's very calming and beautiful. Yet, the more I look at it, I feel it needs some darker values here and there. When I look at the girl, I can teel where the light is coming from, but the I stare at her, I think darker tones are needed along the edge of her legs, and on her dress, the tail. Everything else looks nice. and maybe it's just me. I think someone else will come along and give a better critique. lol I think my teacher ingrained, "Dark, dark, dark," into my head too many times. lol!
The scene, however, is simple, captured, and easy to tell. As usual, your flowing lines keep me interested. I also found how you image fades and cuts off cool too. The characters body postures tell what's on, and convey everything the title says. I like it, and your fantasy style.

Your anatomy and shading is rather smooth here!I really love how it looks so soft and blends so well together.Also love the little scene you captured here between these two,so pretty and peaceful
