I think this is a great idea, expressed very well with a great technique. His hair flows into a blade, and it feels like it realeses an "aura" around it. I love the way lines flow trough all the space making us follow them to have a complete and detailed sight of it. I like the tones of grey and violet/purple that you used and the red eye, on his face and on his blade make a great contrast with the rest of the work, expecially the background. To finish, I would like to say that I love his expression, his looking, it s a very important thing that I admire when is very well done, like this. It is a beautiful and great piece overall.

I could see this picture being a depiction of someone's memory. This really feels like a memory that someone would have about a demonic samurai in disguise, who carries with him a very demonic blade.
The man looks like he's very confident and sure of himself; very well trained and disciplined. This picture is the point at which you just witnessed him kill a small group of men with that blade. It all happened so fast, but it really looked like his blade had a life and soul of it's own. It's the things that you saw that blade do with very few strokes. And then right after all those men were dead, it's like he swiped his blade very near to your face before he sheathed it. But as the blade went past your face, you could feel the heat and life source of that blade. You really have a strong and vivid memory of that man's sword being possessed by an actual demon or dragon.
The color scheme give me the feel that your memory of him is one that is very surreal that left you with a sense of shock; your hands went cold while he was there and after he left. The background is very blurred and confused; that's what makes think that in this moment everything happened very fast and all your surrounding went blank and blurred because of his sword.
It's like the man was demon using another demon or dragon as a weapon.
I really love this picture. It was very well made. If there is any story to this picture, I would like to see it. Please keep going!

My first impression is that I really like the composition and mood of this artwork! It leads the eye around very well and the red accents are nice and attention grabbing! The green hilights offer a nice contrast to the red accents! That said, I feel like the green highlights don't make sense in some areas; the hair and the blade creature I feel would be catching more of the green light. I would definitely like to see more detail with the fabric folds, and a bit more details with the hair. Overall I really enjoy the style and I feel everything ties together very well. Keep up the fantastic work! C :

This piece is truly Sinister for a character presented on canvas, It is also a staged Idea I had in the back of my head and you sir just revolutionized it.Β
I also wanted to stage an opinion/ An Idea. But if you have heard of Hellsing: Ultimate You'll know what I'm talking about.
So what if Alucard had an older brother (Historically Alucard is Dracula, Dracula is Vlad Tepes who historically had an older brother who was Mircea II of Wallachia). And Mircea historically was said to have had his eyes gouched out by the Ottomans, And then buried alive. But to get to the Idea and the question:
The idea is what if he was dug up by an Asian style vampire (to be kind of sexist a female in particular). And he was the brother of Hellsings Alucard. And they fought brutally like vampires do, But also like how brothers act, make up for it, Then kick someone else's hind in. This portrait you have made brought out the physical image in the back of my head (saddly due to my lack of mastery over this kind of art composition). The idea is amazing. And I hope one day to bring the idea to others and work with it. Not just in art, But in a story around the Hellsing Universe.
So my question is: What If Alucard had discovered his older brother mircea is as powerful as he is. And they dueled?
