Description Hold me sweet december,
Let me sing with you,
Allow your sweet embrace,
To cool away the rain.

Let me kiss the snowflakes,
Please may dance with them,
I want to twirl so calm and peacefully,
Let the darkness join the celebration.

As the darkness steps onto,
The navy sparkled ballroom,
He takes my hand in a clouded glove,
The snowflakes parting for our dance.

Soft steps as we move,
Allowing the song to slow,
Finishing so gloom and cold,
The witching hour dies.

The lights touch our feet,
The yellows and the greens,

The night prince lets go of me,
Our dance has finished once again.

A icy rose is in my hands,
Sharp at every point.
A single prick and it falls to the ground,
Smashing in the snow, sprinkled with blood.

I walk away so slowly,
Blood dripping from my finger,
Leaving me a trail, to follow when I wish,
To dance with sweet December.

Please.

Hold me sweet december,
Let me sing with you,
Allow your sweet embrace,
To cool away the rain.
