And here we go, the adventure continues! Also, since I've been asked, here's a brief rundown of the rules for this run.
1. If it gets knocked out, it's dead and can never be used again.
2. Only chosen type of pokémon may be used at any point. If this makes using Fly or Surf tricky, tough luck!
3. Instead of one pokémon being allowed to be caught per area, due to the limitations of only using one type, at set intervals during the course of the story a random-number generator and a list of all available unevolved pokémon of your chosen type is used to determine encounters.
Also, since it occurs to me that after two comics we're still a bit lacking on names here, I'll just tell you:
Ground trainer = Gray
Steel trainer = Jon
Turtwig = Explorer
Beldum = Himeji
Magnemite = Timmy

I'm glad to see the rules now haha. I find it funny how Gray goes in there for Woobat and ends up meeting Swoobat, that's bad luck on his part and Himeji better not kill itself from all those Take Downs. Looking forward to more

I maintain it's because he adores his Beldum and thus spent ages making sure it was always fully healed during this bit of training.

Yaha, indeed. Since this story is largely going to be taking place away from the established "Routes", I thought it prudent to include a regular update of where they've gotten to. However, since I decided to start them in a purely fictional spot so I could open the series how I wanted to, that leaves them officially "Lost". They'll stumble into a town sooner or later, I expect.
