Description

Since whenever I crawl into Tessiël's skin it is usually for several days, I have made and embroidered four sleeveless tunics that are slightly inspired by japanese kimono's ( hence the double collar).

This is the Birch tunic and also a little bit my favourite since the birch is my favourite tree. The birch has a lot of connotations in different cultures but it is generally associated with growth, renewal, and adaptation. Since it is a pioneer species it is usually the first tree to grow after fires or landslides and it is usually the last leafy-tree to stop growing in altitude.

Stitches used are the stemstitch and the long and short stitch.
