Whoso pulleth out this key from this lock and knob is rightwise king! Born of Squee and Nix.Well this could have been a lot better, but I did this in a hurry.
Basically based it off of the Sword in the Stone cover [link] but probably didn't turn out quite right since it isn't the most recognizable cover by Disney. I was also going to plaster the Kingdom Hearts title in its giantness over the sky, but that was... ugly. ANd I forgot the little keychain!Archimedes the Owl was my favorite character in that. Owls are so cute! I wouldn't mind if Disney spawned another sequel as long as it had the owl.
Speaking of Disney, has anyone ever seen "The Black Cauldron"? The film based on Lloyd Alexander's book series? I loved the books as a kid, and they got quite dark, but I've never seen the film. I kept meaning to, but I never found the time. The movie itself was too dark for kids at the time it was released, too, if I recall. Though, you might want to get it soon, since Disney pretty much disowned the film and stopped releasing it! [link] "As of this day, the original cut of the film with the removed scenes restored, has never been released on video or DVD." (aka, scenes of people being killed). Sounds good and non-kiddie. :u
Now that I think about it, a KH-fied Black Cauldron cover may have been more appropriate, though I probably should stick to recognizable homages.

I used to own the Black Cauldron on VHS when I was a kid. I always thought it was weird but stuck with it because of the cute fuzzy animal and pretty princess chick. Plus, the hero won so it was all good XD

Well, I never read the Black Cauldron books, but saw the movie. The movie sucked horribly. The hero was a dweeb, his friends were even dumber, and the whole plot was pretty much boreing. The ONLY thing I liked about that movie was the Villain: The Horned King. Now THERE'S A Disney villain! He was cold, calculating, merciless, and dead. XD His evil and power is on par with Maleficent.
Unfortuantly since Disney pretty much disowned the movie, and it did poorly, The Horned King is barely noticed as a prominint Disney villain. But he has become my fav Disney villain along with Maleficent. And I think HE needs to be part of the next KH game. But not have his world, or it's dweeby hero, just the HK. Like they did with Maleficent. They switched Prince Charming with Beast. Do you agree with me on the HK?

My mom rented that movie(black cauldron) for me when I was pretty young..it was kinda creepy for a little kid.
I've read the books too, and those got kinda creepy too. Ah well, I still liked them!

Black Cauldron is a great movie, despite the fact that Disney basically disowned it ^_~ You can probably find a copy of it on ebay, if you're interested.. and it's worth a look, if you like Sword in the Stone, Peter Pan and Robin Hood. It's a good movie. Dark, but great.
