Art trade with the talentedSo glad to have finally finish this! I'm so sorry it took so long x_x
Decided to use Sai for the lineart. Still quite shaky with it, but it made the lineart process much faster. (also tried to give Crispy a baggy teeshirt and a hat to make her seem like she was trying to be more tomboyish.. I kind of failed though X3)
Anyways, Alan decided to teach Crispy some free-running. Perhaps they should have started off closer to the ground though... But she is trying to be as encouraging as possible. It's only.. a couple of stories to the ground below.. Nothing to worry about!
I hope I didn't fail too badly D:
[edit] Oops, I realized I forgot to colour Crispy's horn blue. Fixed it!

I didn't use a custom brush actually. I just used the default brush in photoshop and the smudge tool (with 'scattering' and 'other dynamics' turned on)

Hehe, thanks! I found using the pen tool in Sai and bit.. odd, since the curves work so differently than the ones in photoshop. Hopefully I'll get used to it in time though.
