Late autumn is depressing time for nature photography.. After about a week of cloudy and raining the sky became clear and my trigger finger was tingeling
12x two-minute exposures combined in photoshop making it 24 minutes total. New technique for me which I just found about. Goodbye noisy star trail shot and welcome noise free trails

very good, the wide angle lens effect isnt too overpowering, and the city glare across the water is great. i do not know and cannot tell if these are three separate pics spiced or one insanely good setting. never thought of splicing together multiple exposures in photoshop, great idea.

Open one of the images in Photoshop and add others as layers with Lightness blend mode. The exposure stays about the same but the stars create trails this way.

hm i don't know what "lightness blend mode" in german is. where i cant find this kind of layermode? maybe a screenshot?
