Not be confused with the Void Shadows and Dark Matter. The Vilified Void is name given to a villainous 6-Pokemon group with the goal of feeding the negative thoughts of Pokemon. They are the main enemies that Team Kaikau faced. The group consists of:

Karlene the Shiny Darkrai (Leader)
Roshia the shiny Pupitar
Zaros the Midnight Lycanroc
Description:
The Vilified Void was formed after the defeat of Bittercold during the events of Gates of Infinity. They hide their true intentions as shop keepers to street thugs to even being explorers, the fact the Vilified Void was formed around 2012 and their activities remain hidden until 2023 suggested that what Omar of Team Kaikau describes their ability to mask themselves by acting something that is completely mundane to the Mystery Dungeon World (it is possible that Pokemon are used to such low-level criminals amplifying the disguise further) in which they succeed in doing so.
The true intention of this group is to feed off the negative thoughts of Pokemon and corrupting them so they can consume PK-37 and its neighboring worlds into darkness where there is no peace but pure chaos; that is awfully similar to Bittercold's goal of sending despair to the entire world. So far they corrupted some members of the Expedition Society
Death:
The group went defunct when Team Kaikau set up a trap for the Vilified Void at the docks defeating Zaros, and Roshia. They then lured the remaining 4 into the clearing of Misty Woods with Karlene being last one alive, Team Kaikau sucessfully rescuing the Expedition Society. Karlene chased the team off into the outskirts of Lively Town (almost corrupting Candy the Sableye, gaining enough power to overpower the team), where they take a stand into an abandoned mansion. The fighting was noticed by the Expedition Society and called a crowd of explorers to assist Team Kaikau.
Karlene was about to overpower Taira but the Vulpix unleashed her internal lockbox open in which an inner demon, Taira's bloodied and evil doppelganger; kills the Darkrai not before the Howling Opus engulfs Team Kaikau, Expedition Society and co. (Team Quickstopper members Eleanor Burton, Jewel and Solomon Acevedo, and Imogen are spared from the book's portal), and a few Pokemon in a growing large radius, sending them to Taira's world filled with her dark psyche and mind.
