He isn't particularly bothered by his blindness (with the exception of wandering in unfamiliar public places), and he tends to take most jokes in regards to his condition with good humor.
(For example, if someone comments "Oh man, it's so dark, I can't see!" He would respond with "Oh wow! Tell me more about it.")

He may initially come off as cold and distant, but he has a tendency to warm up to people fairly quickly. Once you get to know him better you realize he can be quite stubborn and has a bit of a malicious streak. He's a bit of a daredevil and a prankster, and can be quite shameless.

  Mother is Chinese, Father is from England: They are very success driven, thus were conflicted with Aster's condition and love for dance.
  Older brother: 26. Lives away from home. Software engineer. Looks rebellious but is actually cinnamon af.
  Younger brother: 20. Looks like a younger, more sour version of Aster most of the time. Had a rebellious steak in adolescence and is a chain smoker. Actually helps Aster get around a lot.

Aster wasn't always blind, but lost his vision at a very young age. He suffered from acute closed-angle glaucoma which permanently damaged his optical nerve to the extent of NLP.

He learned how to dance from his older brother at an early age.
