Description
     Every time the moon was a bright, blazing ball in the sky, the Polynesians would have a big feast, and would have different events after everyone was fed.  One of these events was cliff diving, where all the young men would compete to see how graceful each dive was.  The winner would receive a bright gemstone that was rarely dug up on the islands.  Naohito was the all time champion, who wasn't defeated yet.  The youngest, Takuto, was constantly training every day, because his dream was to beat Naohito.
     On the day of the feast, everyone from the surrounding islands all came to the big island named Kona.  There were great amounts of food, and soon everyone was merry.  Except for Takuto, who was nervously reviewing his dive.  Then, the competition arrived, sooner than Takuto expected.  Naohito was the first to jump, and he had a wonderful dive!  Everyone already expected him to win.  Then, it was Takuto's turn.
     He stepped cautiously to the edge of the highest cliff on Kona, and leaped gracefully off.  Everyone was shocked as he twirled and spun through the air.  Right when he was about to enter the water, a wind blew him to the right.  He landed and perished on the jagged rocks.
     To commemmorize his death, the moon invited Takuto onto his surface, because Takuto was a bodiless soul, and everyone pitied the young boy.  He agreed, and to this day, when there's a full moon, Takuto celebrates by leaping off a cliff on the moon, towards the gemstone, which can be seen on it.
