Those vibrations Raksha and Maggie felt turned out to be a disaster that stroke one of the former Tundes' packs. With Taikans scattered over the island looking for s afe plac, some of them wandered into Kol and found shelter there.
Looking at them, Raksha compared them to Lanval, another former Tundes she'd taught. He was different from them, he found Kol because she wanted to (at least that was something she belived), they, however came here seeking only temporary shelter.
They were of little threat, surely, still, Raksha decided to keep an eye out, albeit appearing friendly with them.
To her luck or not, her mom wasn't among those seeking shelter.
