The balloon itself is what makes the piece, for me; there's a fantastic amount of detail in so few brush strokes; and it contrasts well with the (appropriately) sketchy backdrop.

Oh, one my daddy told me that the scanner has problems with blue because it's light is blue. :/

It makes the light a bit weaker, protecting the colors, so they won't change much. o:
