Yah... lycoris rules... though its not really a hardcore linux distro (meaning its easy to setup XD) i couldnt stand windows any more... but my gaming desktop still has windows on it so i guess there is a balance :3Related content

jk.. its not that i despise microsoft, its that i actually like linux more... its faster, cleaner and doesnt try to squeeze all the money it can out of you. Macs are... well i just have never liked macs, but thats my view... and i have substantial evidence which proves why someone like me should not have a mac...
windows: $200 (well close, dunno real price)
visual studio: similar price (if not pirated... i dont pirate software)
office: around the same
compared to
lycoris: 35 bucks (yeah... i got a distrobution that costs SOMETHING)
kDevelope: comes with the delux package so no extra fee
open office: free
and all the stuff i got with linux is cross compatable (most source, documents, spreadsheets, presentations), save for direct x requiring code in c++, but that wont last for long... its only a matter of time.
does microsoft have an official forum? i dunno... but i found lycoris' forum so much more helpfull than anything from microsoft.
on the other side, microsoft has control over most games which makes me sad... but im not one to play games all the time am i? im one to make em :3
