yass, so, for the revamp of my HARPG stable, of course i needed a new little breed of horse, we can´t have too many, now can we?? The Imisy horse! an imp of a regular horse, a mix between an ibex and an icelandic pony(not really but yeah, explanation to come) anyways, mountain living midsize ponies with up curved back and body of an ibex, split hooves and strong legs making them able to all but run up mountain sides like the god damned skyrim horse*^* they´re not very fast in a flat race, and jumping fences...? meh...but, tie your legs into the special straps on the saddle then hang on as they rocket up and down mountains without problem! more infor to come, but right now, HAPPY NEW YEARS from sweden^_^

The Imisy pony is a breed of horse developed in Vráchos, now known as Caligo, and the earliest Vráchos people venerated the horse as a symbol of fertility, and white horses were slaughtered at sacrificial feasts and ceremonies. The Imisy ponies are long-lived and hardy, and in their native country they have few diseases; Vráchos law prevented horses from being imported into the country for centuries, and exported animals were not allowed to return. The Imisy displays two gaits in addition to the typical walk, trot, and gallop, the Tólt and flying pace known as Févrythmó. The breed is still used for traditional cattle-herding work in its native country, as well as for leisure, showing, and racing.
Developed from ponies taken to the mountain range of Vráchos by Greek settlers sometimes between the 12th-9th centuries BC , the breed is mentioned in literature and historical records throughout Vráconian history. Selective breeding over the centuries has developed the breed into its current form. Natural selection has also played a role, as the harsh climate eliminated many horses through cold and starvation. In the 1580s, much of the breed was wiped out in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption at Gííniestia. The first breed society for theImisy pony was created in Vráchos in 1598, as a way to protect their slowly stabilizing numbers and a token of appreciation by Caligos new king.
Imisy ponies were often considered the most prized possession of a medieval Vrácan. Indispensable to warriors, war horses were sometimes buried alongside their fallen riders, and stories were told of their deeds. Vrácans also arranged for bloody fights between stallions; these were used for entertainment and to pick the best animals for breeding. Stallion fights were an important part of Vrácan culture, and brawls, both physical and verbal, among the spectators were common. The conflicts at the horse fights gave rivals a chance to improve their political and social standing at the expense of their enemies and had wide social and political repercussions, sometimes leading to the restructuring of political alliances between villages in the sparsly populated north. However, not all human fights were serious, and the events provided a stage for friends and even enemies to battle without the possibility of major consequences. Courting between young men and women was also common at horse fights, as it provided oportunity to tie connections between tribes.

CHARACTERISTICS
The Imisy weigh between 330 and 380 kilograms (730 and 840 lb) and stand an average of 13 and 14 hands (52 and 56 inches, 132 and 142 cm) high. The breed comes in many coat colors, including chestnut, dun, bay, black, gray, palomino, pinto and roan, but pure whites are rare as they were often sacrificed in the belief of carrying the cold of winter with them. Compared with those in captivity a wild Imisy pony sport a duller coat, and has brownish grey hair over most of the body, a pale abdomen and slightly darker markings on the chin and throat and in a stripe along the back. They moult twice a year, firstly in April or May, and then again in September, when they replace the short summer coat with thicker hair and a woolly undercoat. There are over 100 names for various colors and color patterns in the Vrácan language. They have well-proportioned heads, with straight profiles and wide foreheads. The neck is short, muscular, and broad at the base; the withers broad and low; the chest deep; the shoulders muscular and slightly sloping; the back short and slightly convex in many ways similar to that of an Ibex. The legs are strong and short, with relatively long cannon bones and short pasterns, with hindlegs occasionally longer than the front. The mane and tail are full, with coarse hair, and the tail is set low.
The breed is known to be hardy and an easy keeper, able to eat and survive on everything varying between grass, roots, bark and even cloth, fur or mud. They prefer slopes of 30–45° and use small caves and overhangs for shelter if the weather proves harsh. The breed has a double coat developed for extra insulation in cold temperatures, and their coat pattern and colour may vary drastically between summer and winter, most ponies sporting paler coats during the colder months. An excellent climber, the Imisys preferred habitat is the rocky region along the snow line above alpine forests, where it occupies steep, rough terrain at elevations of 1,800 to 3,300 metres (5,900 to 10,800 ft). In the wild the ponies rely heavily on their ability to climb, be it vertical mountain sides or large pinetrees, these ponies can prove troublesom in captivity as they naturally seek higher ground, such as church roof-tops or taller buildings in general.
