Name: Nickolai Fitz (Nick for short, will tolerate Nicky)
Age: 19 years
History/Description:

Nickolai was born to Sasha and Dolan, both of which lived throughout his childhood and made sure he grew up knowing the virtues of life. He was taught to respect those around him and to never place pity on anyone. Pity was a demeaning emotion, something his father Dolan, was very much against. His mother however showed no such belief in pity like Dolan, and at times encouraged it within her only son.

As Nickolai grew, so did his views and aspects of the world around him. He became a type of profit, but only to the name. He could no more predict the future than he could live a thousand years. He took on the name because of his views and how he would speak. Sasha was the poetic type, her sentences often carrying deep meaning through the words she uttered. This fell on Nickolai and as he grew, became the only way he knew how to talk.

When he reached the age of fifteen, his parents got into a scuffle with one of the predators that hunted their species. Nickolai joined in the fight, using his strength and teachings of his father to try and gain the upper hand in the match. His mothers intelligence helped guide him to bringing out the opponents weaknesses, however his own reluctance to fight proved a fatal mistake.

His parents suffered heavy scars and lashings, his father losing and eye and his mother losing half her tail, left ear, and sense of smell. He blamed himself for the injuries they sustained, but was told by them to not think in such ways. Their injuries were not the cause of his actions, and that if he hadn’t fought along side them, they would have been killed.

Sadly when he turned seventeen, his father was struck hard by illness. It slowly took his life, leaving each day more painful than the last. When they (Sasha, Nickolai, AND Dolan), realized that there was no recovering from this, Dolan had his son end his life. Nickolai was very hesitant at first, not wanting to be the one to take his father’s life. With the encouragement of his mother, and the approval of his father, he finally did the deed. It hurt, but he knew that now his father was no longer suffering.

After that he left his mother, feeling that now he was ready to face the world alone. He also wanted to help others get through hardships like the one he had to. His mother was proud of him and agreed to this, knowing that both she and Dolan were proud.

“I promise mother to fight fiercer than any Daldon ever fought so as to protect those in need. I’ll never give up and I’ll fight as if every one of my days were my last,” were his last words to her. He then left her, walking away into the distance with a purpose and a goal. One he would achieve even at the cost of his own life.
