You'll see from my gallery here that I'm working to put together a portfolio of Star Wars art. It's fair to say that there's no shortage of incredibly talented Star Wars artists out there - so to try to make my work stand out I keep challenging myself to create drawings that I hope people will find interesting and original.This one might seem a bit wacky - but Yoda is actually closely related to Kermit - so I've imagined a scene where Kermit steps up and confronts the Emperor!
Kermit doesn't have many facial expressions - so I thought it would be funny if the Emperor's force lightning didn't hurt Kermit - just tickled him a bit - so he could keep his usual wide-mouthed look. Even if it does hurt him a little - I'm sure Miss Piggy will show up soon to give the Emperor a piece of her mind and save her frog

Wow, you cross everything with star wars. and all I did was cross star wars with Lion King, witch was the best one, and Sonic.
Well Kermit will soon find out that his Sing along powers are no match for the Emperor. Perhaps he should switch to his lessons of sharing.

The scene that coming to my mind is where Darth Sidious is tossing around force lightning an senate platform pods at Yoda and cackling like a mad man. Now insert Kermit in the place of Yoda just dodging them and laughing back!

I think that was also in my mind when I drew this - although I didn't really have a particular 'setting' in mind - just wanted to get the concept across. But I certainly like the idea of imagining Kermit dodging around instead of Yoda - with the puppeteer using those black sticks to flap his arms around like crazy!
