Commission for
Man, it feels so good to draw some Death Note art again, it really brings back the nostalgia
She wanted L and Misa in an alternate universe, where Misa is the one calling out for Ryuzaki in the rain scene in episode 25 instead of Light. I must admit, it would have been a way better and more touching scene if it really happened, since I love LxMisa so much 
they're so different and yet complementary...I don't know, there's something about them that really makes me like them together :3Also, this commission is a present for her birthday and it was supposed to be wallpaper-like, so I tried my best to put the characters in a more central view to prevent them to be hidden by the icons.
What else can I say? Rainy scenes are my favourite, but they're also EXTREMELY difficult to draw properly, especially the wet ground. I did my best and I hope you like it!

I would have liked this version much better, but maybe Light first and then Misa comes up and sees them both soaked and the tension sort of eases off.

I just love how Misa is letting Ryuzaki have the entire safety of the umbrella while she gets soaking wet. I'm also surprised that Light didn't have the foresight to bring an umbrella along while Misa did. I guess she's smarter than she looks, eh?
I also love this pairing as well. Great work; it still looks depressing because we all know what happens after this scene, but there's a feeling of hope and happiness that can be seen in the umbrella. As if Misa was going to have a change of heart by saving Ryuzaki, but that's too much analyzing.Β

This is just so... magnificent, I love how the umbrella gives off a luminous glow compared to their surroundings that are gloomy and dark.

Rain is one of the most difficult effect to make it look good, especially because of the reflections that comes with watery and wet surfaces! I'm still practicing so I can't say I *can* do it properly

a little bit of magic and noone will know XD
I did once a drawing of a landscape with a reflection in the river
i was drawing this like a whole day with soft pastels
it came out well
I wish i could show you this but I dont have it anymore
my college sketchbook was stolen
in fact ALL my work in college WAS stolen
but the teachers saw my work and they did not fail me
thank god!Β
at least I ended the college with a highest grade *feels satisfied*
