Part 4 of my #Inktober. These sketches and concepts will be part of my HEIONARCH graphic novel project.

The Praxistorn is a rather obscure organization. Part monastic cult, part political movement, they are are somewhat shrouded in mystery. Many sources claim that the members constitute a separate race, their ancestors being of extraterrestrial origin who over time merged their physiology with human genetics. While others hold that these miserable shufflers are just another extrasolar genetic throwback from the earliest days of offworld exploration. They tend to keep themselves remote and aloof, meditating on spiritual and political praxis - hence the name - but without ever really engaging in meaningful struggle. They are more commonly seen moping about in dreary post-colonial cities like Loredinium and elsewhere in the Local region.
