Description
This is the famous clock tower of the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) in London. It is often referred to as Big Ben, though that is the nickname of the bell, and the clock is usually called the Great Clock. In 2012, to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, Parliament officially named the clock tower the Elizabeth Tower, a fitting counterpart to the Victoria Tower at the other end of Parliament.Related content
