Description Camden Station was not Baltimore's first passenger station, but it was the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad's main station there after it was opened in 1856.  Ever since the B&O gave its passenger service to Amtrak in 1971, only commuter trains stop at Camden, while long-distance trains use Penn Station instead.  The building has fortunately avoided demolition, though it is no longer used by any railroad.  It is now a sports museum adjacent to the Orioles' baseball park.
