Yes, I am aware.

I've been off milk for almost a year, and for those who don't know, I've been a vegetarian since birth. Animals are very, very important to me and when I saw this YouTube ad where this girl talked about the dairy industry, it sparked my whole rage with animal cruelty. I've been so focused on race, economic and environmental issues, I forgot about the beautiful animals, especially those in the food industry. When you've been a vegetarian for so long you kind of forget you are one because it is constantly a factor in your life...but that's just me.
Anyway, cows are in my top 5 favorite animals because they have provided so much to the human race for millennia, and they're such beautiful complex creatures. The fact that they have been exploited so horribly for so long makes me ashamed of calling myself a human.

So, just remember where your food comes from. It doesn't just magically get on a shelf.
