He helped Naruto fighting Pain, but when Naruto turned into kyuubi with the 6 tails, Kaito when find Nagato, and asked him to give him the Rinnegan, because Naruto Just killed the last pain (when kaito found Nagato naruto had just killed him and he was on his way) so Nagato gave him the Rinnegan, and then Kaito left the vilage to learn how to use it. He can only use the Human Path, The deva Path and the Asura path. he could use summoning jutsu befour he got the rinnegan
