There is something essentially very special about this.. the facial anatomy is lovely, and wonderfully realistic, but more than that, I love the slightly downcast angle, giving this a very pensive and thoughtful feeling, and then the extraordinary glow coming from the top left corner is the perfect icing on the cake. It really seems to be to be done perfectly... and I truly adore this beautiful portrait more than my mere words could possibly describe!
I am wholly impressed! Phenomenal work!

But Tea, this is sooo old. When looking at this now I see lots of mistakes, but I guess that means that I got better.

Old work is not always actually "bad" work... yes, you can compare to see how you've improved, but sometimes, there are really some very interesting things you can find within your old work to note your natural talent... this is what I am seeing here...
It may be one of my favourite pieces as far as people/portraits go, of yours... I don't want that to bother you though.

Like my original words were saying... well, there really is something special here... the way you have the lighting from the above corner and her slightly downcast look... it's a very real emotive look, and very natural too.

I don't know... I may not be explaining it right, but it's very touching for me.

And for me a treasure, is also something that has some kind of deep meaning for me...
