Hey guys, thanks a bunch for all the birthday wishes yesterday- I had great time c:

Anyway, sorry about falling off the radar yet again. To get motivation back, I’ve adopted this cute mermaid character yesterday from the talented E-Magnus  <3 I fell in love with the design so I thought, what better way to get inspired than to start on something new (plus I’ve always wanted to make some kind of mermaid OC).

I jumped into making a pic so I’ve only done minimal conceptualization so far, but I’m kinda thinking of making her a carnivorous mermaid or sea demon who loves to prey on small sea mammals and fish. The locals sometimes offer her people food which she’s developed a liking to and as a result spends more time stalking areas where humans frequent and sometimes kills them when she’s bored (but doesn’t eat them).

Don’t have a name for her yet since I suck at coming up with names but I’m open to suggestions though for possible names if anyone has any.
