One pair of earrings- each earring consists of one antique brass watch balance, a genuine antique second hand, one brass gear and a 2mm round-cut AA quality genuine ruby. They are mounted on sterling silver earring studs with sterling ear nuts, and earring hangs 7/8 inch from the post. At the top of each balance, you can see a genuine antique jeweled movement- one looks like a ruby, which is standard for that time, and the other looks like it could be a rough cut diamond.

These delicate watch balances come from the back of early 1900s American pocket watches, the era in which pocket watches were beginning to see real extravagance, with detailed engraving and increased jeweled movements.
