i Like The BackGrounD just fIne. the Way y0u've sEt this up ReminDs mE oF a lETter pAd.
i don't sEe a ThinG wronG wiTh the coLor sCheme. the oRanGe in the backGrounD is darkEr Than the foReground, and the yellow huEs Are a fine compLemenT.
the taLL graSs lookS like iT's moVing in waves.
i'D think hYenas match the scheme oF color Where they liVe pReTty cLoseLy.
i like the Warm coLors.

I think the vectorized style of the background looks great. The only thing that I could think of is to maybe use different colors? As of now the background is brighter than hyena in the foreground and kind of subverts my attention away from the hyena. I defintely like the smoothness of the picture. You have a great style.
