This ended up on my Facebook feed from a group that rates fantasy pinups. Someone on my feed posted it thinking it was a actual person.

So many have fallen short of making an Ice Princess/Queen, be the hair, the eyes the costume. Your character is fabulous. The lace ruffling, elven stylish lines along the center of the gown, frosted long hair which is rough instead of smooth. Makes you think of winter. If she was any hotter, she would melt.

It took me a minute to realize that the lower part of the outfit is actually some kind of white triangle piece on the end of the cloth, and not actually the background showing from between her legs. Once I realized that the entire thing made a lot more sense.
I think that if you were to re-render it turned slightly one direction or another - not much rotation, mind you, maybe 5-10 degrees on Y axis - then it would make a lot more visual sense, i.e. instantly recognizable as an outfit and not visually identified as some kind of underwear.

okay.. so.. the crotch of the outfit IS hanging a tad low... and I'm not big on fantasy/elven character.. but this character is just... she's just amazing. The outfit is just phenomenal. The use of the full range of white tones is just doing it like a boss. As far as the characters physical shape goes.. (addressing some previous comments I read) women.. thankfully.. come in myriads of shapes and sizes. As do breasts. Yep.. hers are near perfectly round and very gravity-defying and I say "yay!!!" to that. Facially she's amazing too. Any chance we can get some pointers as to the character you used and the maker of that outfit?

That crotch is confusing the hell out of me. It looks like its in the wrong spot or that the hips are too high or something. Definitely a lack of shading. She looks very cut out at her crotch, no real depth at all.

It's not a crotch, it's a loincloth piece and it ends at mid- thigh. I don't see anything wrong with the proportions, but then again I understand the clothing.

But it's not a loincloth. The thighs suddenly go inward like crotches do. It's just very, very cut out and strange. It's pretty clear on full view. The other artwork from the artist also shows long torsos. I was thinking maybe it was a loincloth, and I'm totally fine with that, but after thinking about it well more than was necessary, it's indeed her anatomy and a bodysuit.

I own this outfit, too, and just used it in my last render. That IS in fact a loin cloth in the front and this outfit does NOT have a crotch of any kind. It's called 'Mistress Charmed' and was modeled and textured by Aery Soul, currently known as AlphaSeed. I don't know what you are seeing that makes you think her vagina extends like a penis to her mid-thigh. But as I said before, I know exactly what I am looking at so my brain isn't seeing anything but what is actually going on in the picture.

First off: I wasn't serving you any sass. Your comment sounds snarky to me, but I'm guessing the problem is the lack of voice inflection through internet comments.
Secondly: That model helped. I see it. I see what's going on. That white space at her crotch is a piece of metal or something. I was seeing that metal part as negative space and just part of the background. If you can trick your brain into seeing that, you can see where and why I would say I'm seeing thigh and crotch. This makes this SO much more clear now. I was so confused because everything was so nicely done, and that part just looked so forgotten.

I didn't think you were being sassy to me, and so you know for sure I wasn't trying to snark. I was trying to emphasize my certainty- it was more of a 'No, really, I promise it's like this' attempt. I was also confused by the crotch perception thing. I didn't understand it and I wasn't sure how to explain the outfit to you because of that. I get that you saw the metal accent tip as the background, now. It's very reflective with most lights, I've found. Whiting out can be a little bit of a problem if you are using the light textures instead of the dark. It's silver, and you have to use the lights that work on most of the picture, so I'm not really sure of a fix for that.
Glad you see now. I saw that your crit was a bit harsh and figured that it was because of the skewed perception of the outfit and not from trolling or such. RGUS makes very graceful, lovey pinups.

It's like she has barbie doll legs. No fat lumping around her butt or inner thigh. Everything else looks pretty good so its really, really jarring. Her boobs look a bit weird, too. Like softballs under skin. This is really bugging me for some reason. Everything else looks so good except for the intimate parts.
