yeah. I'm doing this for a project in english right now (The Hollow Men, by TS Elliot)... imo, its about the fear of final judgement, and in the end the lack of such. makes you wonder why we live our lives the way we do if there is nothing beyond death? in any case... the prickly pear lines were ones that confused me... the other lines of the poem fit togetehr well, but the foru lines about the prickly pear stuck out like a sore thumb... i wonder if anybody could suggest the underlying meaning to it?
