I bought one of course! I basically ran around the town trying to find a store with it as almost every store had seemed to run out of 2nd gen version, and I didn't want to wait to order it online :'D but luckily my search paid off and I love the pencil!
thank you! : D

This is truly a beautiful piece! Especially given the complications of trying a new app to make it!

I didn't saw Ibis paint mentioned... I saw a few here use it and sometimes
their ads pop-up with manga artists actually using the app.
I use Medibang myself now but only to very quickly sketch some "flash" design
ideas I have when I am already in bed. I personally cannot be bothered with
drawing apps unless are for pixel art in which case dotpic is my choice.

I've heard of Ibis and checked it out before but I'm not sure if it's any good? Maybe I need to try it out just to see :'D
but thanks for the recommendations!

Procreate was hard for me to get comfortable with too, it’s almost too easy. It’s come a really long way (trying to do lineart on it 1.5 years ago before the stabilizer was a horror show) and there’s a great online community where people share brushes and stuff, so check that out if you haven’t yet!
As for other apps, I’m a slave to Clip Studio Paint because I’ve used it for so long on my computer. It’s very comprehensive for an app without feeling cluttered, and I absolutely adore it. The only downside is that it’s a subscription model—$25/year for the PRO version. I’m not sure if it still has a trial period, but it may.

haha well I've been reflecting on it, and I think the major problem is being used to UIs made for computer, and while some apps on tablets do mimic the UI, Procreate forgets it all and has purely a tablet UI. Even if you are experienced in digi art, Procreate is a lot of new information/deals with it in new ways so it can be pretty overwhelming to switch.
I opened my Medibang on the iPad after almost finishing two paintings on Procreate, and while the UI felt much more familiar to me, I wasn't sure if I'd actually prefer it anymore; sure I'm not yet completely adapted to Procreate but it being native to iPad it had kind of started to feel a more natural way to work on a tablet, you know? :'D (though granted, I didn't try anything more than to doodle on Medibang, not enough to judge anything!)
I bet CSP could be cool, but yea, subscribed apps are not my first choice (And as I heard that PS probably comes to iPad later this year, if I'm going to subscribe to anything, I maybe want to see how it turns out first : D)
