Fantastic idea of making the wolf the guardian. Love the depiction of the snarling wolf like animals on each side cause they look uniform, yet each is stylized a bit different, the white one has a long lizard like tongue the black one has a red eye etc.
The S almost snake-like black shapes on the left are a new formation (usually they are spermatozoa shaped), these shows lots of movement. The peeking sun has a native American feel to it. The air depicted as a liquid with sturgeon swimming in the sky make me imagine of all sorts possibilities.

These wolves are very different, you even can find a she-wolf there.. I created a primitive image of the wolf, but in my opinion it reflects well the meaning of these dangerous animals. The image of the solar disk is very similar to the Slavic pagan symbols. I see a duality here, but your interpretation with Natives does not surprise me.
