My favorite photo of the Little Rock dragon.This is the first paint sample of this piece- out in our garden among the real granite rocks. The rock he is sitting on is fake, it is part of the sculpture.
This guy was originally produced in cement for outdoor use, but now we are casting them in gypsum for indoor display only.
He is smaller than the other rock dragon.
This is a cement casting of my original sculpture, produced by Windstone Editions.

We paint and auction special One-of-a-kind "rock dragons" on ebay once in awhile ( the price they go for could be anything) but we haven't done a production batch to sell in our online store in a long time.

She hasn't eaten for a few days , I think it's because she is shedding. Is yours a male of female? Shiva lays eggs once in awhile, and gets all out of sorts.

Wow, he looks so real! I was fooled; I thought it was a digital drawing of a dragon, and that's why it looks so alive. I had no idea that a sculpture could be so realistic!

They are glass eyes that are glued into the empty eye sockets after the piece is finished.

I wish you could find a way to produce them in cement again. I was never able to get one for my patio. Still can't find one second hand anywhere either.

I hand carved each scale! No trick, just hard work.

We aren't selling these right now, but in a few weeks we will start painting an indoor version of this guy. The one pictured here was cast in cement for outdoor use, the new ones will be gypsum.

Great work, he look so life-like. Lots of details, all scales are beautifuly done. I like his colours, so soft, so natural - so he can hide among rocks.
