Actually, DMC is heavily based off of Divine Comedy, which explains the names....and also, Trish's name is a shorter version of Beatrice

(Trish is the shortened version of the name Beatrice, Dante's wife sent to hell to punish Dante)

Well of course mouse isn't suited for drawing, whereas tablet makes even editing in Photoshop much easier.
