Picture's not bad, but this awful contoured face shading

Not that I'm saying anything you probably haven't already heard. But, this is a great piece. I love the shading and the felt pen look. I'm especially drawn to the curve and the motion in the hips. The wrinkles in the shirt are incredible! They totally flow with the body, which is a feat sometimes to accomplish.
The only thing that seems a little out of place is the shading between her abdomen and left arm. I realize the photograph was dark, so you shaded it as such. But, with the background being solid white, it seems a little out of place.
But, all in all. Who the hell cares? It's still sweet looking anyhow!

all i can say is *wow*. this is very nice. such a seductive look, and the line work really compliments the entire piece. the only thing i could possibly suggest (and if its been said before, sorry to repeat, but you had too many comments on this for me to read them all!! ;P) is add some of that subtle hatching on the arm thats on the left side. but either way, i dont think it really detracts from the picture in the slightest that it isnt. i just think it could perhaps tie it together more and whatnot. astounding piece. +fav.

The shading on the face looks off to me. Can't put my finger on why, but it does.
Otherwise, this is a great image. Very beautiful girl. Ever gonna color it? I really like the highlights on the hair. Thrill as five thoughts come together at random! Funny how the mind works.

Another wonderful piece. The eyes are great. i feel as if i'm being looked at. Shading is masterful as well, but is also the source of my only reservations about it. The edge of the light on the leather is a bit too round. it would probably only take that shape if it were a size or two bigger and there was that much extra room. I also have to agree about the lines on the left side of the face. I'm not crazy about them, but i have to acknowledge that i couldn't think of a better way to do it. But i'm fucussing on the negatives too much.
The hair is, as usual, fantastic. The entire piece in general feels human to me, and slightly resembles canadian singer Bif Naked. Both the image and the singer are quite attractive. She also wears the cleopatra-style eyeliner as well. Coincidance?

Its good, and I just have a few suggestions. The main body of her is great. It has a comic-book influence to it, and has a lot of detail and the use of negative space for the lighting gives it a great look. However, then you look at the face, and it seems like you tried to combine two different styles. I think it would have looked a lot better if you left the shading out, and made use of a much lighter lost and found line to define the shape of her nose and chin. Also, the left eye looks off; to me it seems that the iris/pupil are too far right giving it the appearance of her being cross-eyed a little bit. Other than that, it really looks great.

the right eye doesnt look quite righ to me and i dont really like the shading lines on the left of the face.
sort that out and it will b amazing, cos the rest is sport on
