Fia (or Fiamette) Is a fire dancer.She uses her talisman to be immune to fire It also helps her control and create fire. She creates golden rings of fire with her poi. Fia is well know because of her fiery red hair and her symbol. She chose this symbol because it stands for god. On her island fire dancers are respected because fire dancers no only entertain humans, but also entertain the god of fire, Cyrus. He would burn down villages and forests if fire dancers did not dance on the first night of every month. Fia became who she is because Cyrus heard of a fire dancer so magnificent that if she could be a god she'd be a better god then Cyrus himself. Once Cyrus saw Fia he was impressed ,but knew he was better. He challenged he to a duel, but she refused. When he asked her why she said that she doesn't dance to entertain his whims she dances for herself and her people. When Cyrus heard that he was astonished. She not only passed up a chance to have a fire dance battle with a god, but also insulted him. He was so angry that he gave her a fiery gem that he made right there and then. He placed it on her choker and told her that that gem will never come of her. on the first night of the next month Cyrus decided to burn down the village regardless of whether or not the people danced. Fia was in her house and while there was fire around her she could not feel a thing. She ran out her house and cried as the sounds of screams and cries filled the village. Cyrus appeared before her and smirked. Fia asked him why he was doing this. Cyrus had said that he had made her immune to fire with the gem so that she could watch her village burn down until all that was left of the village was their ashes and Fia. Then suddenly a wave of water crashed on Cyrus. Fia immediately knew that the goddess of water Danu had arrived. She is the reason that Cyrus has not succeeded in wiping out the village. She hated Cyrus for treating the humans like toys. Fia then had an idea. while Danu was splashing Cyrus with water Fia then ran to one of the burning houses and inhaled the fire , and blew it at Cyrus. His body was being covered in obsidian. Danu then took his obsidian covered body and sank it to the very bottom of the ocean. After Danu had put out the fire she told Fia with Cyrus not being able to provide fire and warmth Fia should be the one to take his place. Fia was confused she was not a goddess so why her. Danu explained that the gem Cyrus gave her had granted her the power to do the same as Cyrus that was the only way to get her immune to fire. From then on Fia used her power as it should be used. For warmth and light. Every first day of the month the island celebrates the down fall of Cyrus.
