You were speaking truth... Really? That's a good one. Allow me to correct you Jess. You were not speaking any truth, you were simply giving your opinion on something I edited. Not to brag, but I've have done many edits for people in that same style, and guess what? They loved it, some have even donated me points for them. I understand that people may stroke your ego often, but just because you have an opinion on something, doesn't exactly make it true.
Honestly, the commission I paid you to do, I don't think it was done was all that well, I felt that the lighting was a bit off, and that you could've picked a much better location for it. It was a decent effort, your natural look and your expression was fine, but it just came off as generic and I really didn't feel like I got what I paid for. Plus it doesn't stand out like the pose example I showed you, which was also unedited. I wouldn't call that the complete truth since you liked it and sent it to me, but that's my honest opinion, even with your "Anne Hathaway" look, the photo was still disappointing, which is another reason I haven't been motivated to use it as a drawing reference or request another commission from you, which of course I say with all due respect to you.
I didn't say anything before because I know how busy you are, plus I didn't want to get charged again for a retake, but there you have it. I have worked with different models and taken photos of them unedited both indoors and outdoors, and visually the quality of the photos is way better, and the camera I use isn't even high tech like yours. You use a Canon, and I use a too bit Sanyo.
Honestly I think that with you as the photographer instead, Brittany could do that pose way better than you can (Don't know if she ever will since she hasn't responded or read my messages yet, so I can only wonder). Is that my honest opinion? Oh yes, believe it. Is that the truth? I don't know, I would have to see the photo(s) first. But regardless of whether or not it came out great or disappointing, opinions are just that. Like you said, no critiques, no improvement, right?

I told you if you didn't like the picture quality to let me know and I'd re-take it free of charge. At the time, the only location I had was inside of my apartment due to breakup outside(after winter). Also, it's dark here all winter and the days are over cast, so no real good sun light for the most part. You showed me an example of a girl in her room in a pose you wanted, I took the picture in that pose indoors as well.
If you didn't get what you paid for, that's your fault for not being honest with me when I asked if it was okay. And if you intended to just use it for posing example and to see how the fabric of the clothes laid to use it as drawing reference, it was "okay". Again, I wasn't overly happy with the final product, I had just gotten over the flu and had no where to take the picture at really, but that's why I specifically stated that if you didn't like it, you could let me know and I'd fix it.

Also, the edit clearly isn't super flattering. Granted the picture wasn't awesome before, but it looks worse now. That's not opinion, that's also FACT. Then I said it looked Washed out and Grainy, which guess what, IT DOES, also FACT. Then I followed it with "You said you were going to use it as a drawing "reference". Which is also true, you never said you were going to edit it or upload it NOR did you ask permission to do so.
You bought a stock image for DRAWING "reference". Meaning something to look at to get an idea of what you are doing. You did NOT say you wanted a stock image for photo-manipulation, and therefore needed a high quality image so it would look good after your edits. Which I would have went extra out of my way to get for you, had I known that's what you were purchasing it for, which is why I asked you what you were doing with it before you bought it.
Brittany is a wonderful model, and maybe she would be a lot better at doing the posing.
Did you get the dick stroke you were hoping for from all of this? Maybe yes, maybe no. Did you learn anything from it, possibly.. but I doubt we'll be working together anymore in the future regardless.

Again, that is your opinion, it doesn't make it truth just because you say so. It's one thing to be full of yourself, but it's another thing to make assumptions.
I've been busy, I thought I would do the edit before doing the drawing reference because that's all I had to work with, if you had told me sooner you'd retake it, I would've mentioned that. Seems that was a misunderstanding on both our parts.
That's the point of pose references, working with them to improve.

I take that you deal with man pigs on a daily basis on this site, and that's a shame, but that's not my fault, and I hope you realize that people are different. Did it ever cross your mind that I might be in a committed relationship right now? Of course not, because you don't think outside the box. Your ego is just ridiculous. And you wonder why people rarely give you critiques, if ever.
This is why I didn't say anything, people get so aggressively over a little comment in general. It seems to me like you are one that's hurt / insulted about what I said, even though I said with all due respect.
You gave me a critique and "told the truth", and I did the same thing. I never asked for critique, you did. Now whose fault is that? Yet I'm the bad guy? All of a sudden I'm unprofessional? I would like my points back, please.
For whatever it's worth, you're a decent model, I think you have the potential to go far, but until you stop jumping to conclusions about what other people think just because you're hurt, you're not going to get very far. Trying to get a reaction out of me by provoking, that was very childish. Grow up already, you are not the center of everyone's universe.

I like the small freckles of golden light on your shoulder and arms. they should have more a liquid substance although. i would prefer the picture without a black mask, but through that, the concentration goes automatically to your lips, which is a quite good thing.they are beautiful. ah forget it , i like the mask. The posture is perfect.
