Thanks so much! Inking is something I've been working on hardcore. Honestly the best approach is to do your strokes moving your arm not your hand, like with calligraphy. it'll give you steadier and longer lines.

What kind of pens do you use?

I just saw this. I used to use microns a lot. but lately i only use them to get really thin lines for details (.05, 1, etc). for a thicker line, or tapering lines i use a faber castell brush tip pen. you should get a brush tip pen and mess around with it, it really changed the way I ink. Also if you get really good with a brush tip, you can get a range of thicknesses depending on how hard you press down on the paper.
