Description
In order to gain insight and find direction, the fool seeks out a powerful magician, only to find her performing parlor tricks at a carnival. When the fool approaches, the magician astounds the fool by calling her out by name, from the crowd. She further astounds all assembled by guessing the contents of the the fool's bundled pack. She lays out the fools walking stick and transforms it with a wave of her hand into a wand of spirit, she pulls a sword from the pack, it is a sword of communication. With it falls a cup, full of emotion, and a spill of coins each stamped with an image of the fool in relief.
"All possibilities are within these objects, within you. The choice is yours." Says the magician with a gleam in her eyes. "Take them and seek out your destiny."
The fool, slack-jawed, gathers up her belongs, wondering if they had always been within the pack, or if the magician had placed them. These tools show the fool her future and with them she will always be; inescapable just like her destiny.
She walks on, her gait a more determined step.

The magician represents willpower and creation, a smooth-talker, a trickster with slight-of-hand, smoke and mirrors. She shows you the raw, undirected power of the four suits, a granter of visions for the future and a revealer of new ideas.

I had nothing but problems with this card. I'd only drawn Korikune one other time and she had spots then. I think I was trying to convince myself that a Pomeranian/Cheetah cross would be cool, but now, I think that she might just be a big-eared mountain lion or something. I do like her outfit. The red and white combo of the magician on the Rider-Waite tarot card is transfered over here, but I see her looking more like a sexy white mage. go fig. Also, I learned what a lemniscate was. It's the infinity symbol. There is one above her head as with the R-W deck, but this one is in the form of a bow. Pretty clever if you ask me.
