Description
Mega Evolution. Z-Moves. Dynamax. All three of these are battle mechanics that have since become somewhat of a staple in the Pokemon franchise. Debuting in Generation 6, these ideas made Pokemon battles a bit more interesting and implemented new strategies into the game. Since then, Fakemon creators have dabbled into these ideas and created mechanics of their own. And I am no exception.
This is Erblin's battle mechanic, Noble Blessing. A gimmick that has been prevalent since ancient times. It use to be called Power Surge, but has been updated to work with the story for Chrome and Obsidian. But how does it work? Well, let me tell you.

How Noble Blessing Works
In order to use Noble Blessing, you'll need to give your Pokemon a Crowning Jewel. These crystal shards work an awful like Z-Crystals, though there is a bit more flavor to them.
On the battle menu, after selecting Fight, there is an option to Noble Bless your Pokemon, much like with the other battle mechanics. When you do so, your Pokemon will gain access to a set of passive changes. These passives depend on the Crowning Jewel your mon holds. There are three kinds of Crowning Jewel, and they have the following effects.
Mighty Jewel
Increases the amount of damage dealt by 50%.
Increases the user's critical hit rate by one stage.
Lowers the user's Evasion one stage.
Resilient Jewel
Decreases the amount of damage taken by 50%
Makes the user less likely to be affected by status conditions. (You won't get flinched or fully paralyzed as often.)
Lowers the user's Speed by one stage.
Quick Jewel
Increases Speed and Evasion by one stage.
Protects the user against priority moves. (Also works on Gale Wings & Prankster.)
Lowers the user's Accuracy by one stage.
You'll notice that there's one drawback to using these effects in battle. Not only do they get these stat changes, but your Pokemon will be able to use an exclusive move, called a Marvelous Move.
These are very similar to Z-Moves, only a bit weaker. Here's a list of all the standard Marvelous Moves.
Marvelous Strike -
Mean Greenery -
Infernal Eruption -
Everflowing Water -
Thunderous Rage -
Megalith Mayhem -
Insect Onslaught -
Whirling Wind -
Terraformation -
Relentless Fists -
Mind Bending Blitz -
Virulent Venom -
Shadowy Scheme -
Ghoulish Fright -
Surging Metal Blades -
Biting Cold Blizzard -
Draconic Disaster -
Illuminating Starlight -
All of these moves range from 60 to 90 Base Power depending on what level your Pokemon is.
1 to 19 = 60 Base Power
20 to 29 = 70 Base Power
30 to 39 = 80 Base Power
40+ = 90 Base Power
Additionally they also go through moves like Protect but do about half the damage, like Z-Moves and Max Moves.
These are all really cool things you can do, however you only Noble Bless once per battle. Everything you get will be lost once you switch out or use your Marvelous Move. Additionally, Crowning Jewels are consumable items. This means once you use Noble Blessing, you'll have to give your Pokemon another jewel in order for you to use it again. But don't worry! They can be found in Erblin's wide array of caves!
There's another kind of item that can be used in Noble Blessing. However these act more like held items as oppose to consumables. They're called Royal Emblems. The way you get most of them is different from Crowning Jewels. You have to craft them using a number of these jewels, along with a few other items. The emblems are also tied to a select few Pokemon and will not only give them their own Marvelous Move, but a powered up form as well. However, I'll go over each example in due time.
For now, I hope you like this concept for a battle mechanic! It's really a mashup of preexisting gimmicks, but at this point what else can you do? I hope the crafting element is at least mildly intriguing.

Edit, 2/24/24: Reworked the gimmick a bit.

Hold up! If you decide to use this, please give me credit for making the darn thing! I worked hard on this, and I don't want people stealing my work!
