I always thought it was kinda odd that there just happened to be this really nice big empty base just outside of town for the player to crash in. Also, I think a lot about how it must be to live in a community that has to accommodate for the vastly different sizes of pokemon. Milo and Riley really are rather small.First

The names thing is REALLY cool, but theres this small detail that i love even more, and its the fact that Milo is apparently a human unfamiliar with pokemon as a whole? I originally thought of him as a trainer turned pokemon, but never considered he might be just a human from, say, our dimension.
Although i also cant remember how it played out in the games lol maybe he is a trainer but just doesnt know eevee and torchic. Did he call butterfree out or was that Riley? Hmmmmm i gotta go back and look lol

Very carefully. I did say on a volcano. Plenty of people do that. It's his friend area in the game though, and it is actually surprisingly close to the town.

Nice idea to call pokemon by their name only when they're close XD
calling their species is more respecful reminds me japanese custom when it's more formal to call by family name XDĀ
