I love when my work brings emotions
Actually, I have this idea that when Raiden dies,
his soul becomes the Moon King once more.
And his experience as a mortal grandfather with Kubo has taught him how harsh he was with humans.
So he instates Tooth, Sandy, Bunny and North as Guardians.
The reason he "hired" Pitch Black during the dark ages in the first place was because back then,
he had limited views on humanity from up in the heavens.
And he wanted humans to learn to fear the night, fear the Moon King.
