Description "Well if it isn't [PLAYER], just as expected. Insisting on coming all the way up here to the Pokemon League on Ymir Island when Saga refused to. Oh, do you not remember me? Does the name 'Baldur' sound familiar? Yes, I, Baldur, am in fact the Champion of Norica. But here, you will call me Kvasir. Baldur is my name as a mere pedestrian, albeit a pedestrian who is also the owner of Sindri Designs. Do you like the clothes, by the way? All Sindri, from head to toe. But that's beside the point. It's rare that my battles with challengers are at all personal events. But this... Oh, with how you led Saga away from our little arrangement to cross-promote Sindri Designs and Eitri Industries, this is extremely personal. Our arrangement was such a simple one too. Our battle would be televised with her, heiress to Eitri Industries, in her parents' beautiful designs, facing against me, owner of Sindri Designs, adorned in only the finest. The entire region would have been watching, with both brands on display in their best. But no, you had to fill her head with ideas of leaving modeling and leaving the Pokemon League challenge, even after she had already obtained every single Gym Badge! Please believe me when I say that after our battle by the docks in Othalfjor I was very much looking forward to this. This won't only serve as your last challenge in the Pokemon League. This will serve as my outlet for revenge."

While Baldur comes off as merely cold, distant, and scathing, this persona is unchained when he no longer hides his identity as Kvasir, the enigmatic Champion of Norica. "Baldur" being what one might consider his "civilian" name and identity, he carefully wove two separate personas upon becoming Champion, adopting the name "Kvasir" for this new identity in which he would more display his true self. Immediately following this, he fully wiped any records of "Baldur" from the Pokemon League's archives, to ensure that as far as the role of champion is concerned, only Kvasir exists. "Baldur", meanwhile, survives as the owner, founder, and lead designer of Sindri Designs, a large name fashion label known for their extravagant clothing and accessories, sometimes also seeking deals with other brands in order to better cement the label's firm standing in Norica. Eitri Industries, the label established by Saga's parents, is one such example- As Baldur, he negotiated a deal in which Saga would showcase their designs and the Champion would showcase his in a climactic final battle at the Pokemon League between the two, bringing massive recognition to both labels. Carefully crafting and separating these two identities may not have been an easy feat for him, but hardly anybody, even of those who do in fact know Kvasir, knows of this double life that he leads, due to his intricate threading of every last minute detail in both sides to his being. He enters battle with as commanding a presence as any opponent he faces could possibly imagine, overwhelming them not just with his might as a trainer but also with his self-assured and confident demeanor, without even the slightest sign of uncertainty in his strategy or moves. There is a reason he has not even come close to being unthroned once in the seven years that he has been Champion, and he makes positive that is as clear as it possibly can be. For him, defeat is simply not a conceivable possibility.
