Description I finished this a lot faster than i thought. and i played up the 80s design a bit more with leg warmers and a pair of classic chucks. i'm a sucker for a girl in great sneakers.

In this piece i was going for playful, vibrant, and free. i realize she has gone through a few personalities and incarnations but my favourite rogue has always been the happy-go-lucky southern belle from my younger days.

I really like the shadows on her legs, gives her some nice muscles while keeping it soft.

I've really loved your improvement on the X-Gals so far but I have to be honest, I think I actually prefer the old version of this one. I couldn't find it in your gallery so I can't quite be specific, but one thing that struck me about the last one was how incredibly loose and light and free it was. This one is well done, but it's stiff in comparison. Nice coloring job though!

funny you mention the old piece... i agree with you. i do believe this new rogue is better drawn and coloured, but there is a certain 'feel' to the old one that i didn't quite recapture. perhaps i will get it when i revisit this piece in a few years...

you are very welcome. i guess a lot of artists want to show off rogue's sexy side in a more overt manner. personally, i think rogue would almost never were anything that bares a lot of skin, considering her powers.

Agreed. Her power often leaves her traumatized, and her victims in comas -- not exactly worth it to be running around in hot-pants!
