Well, Ancel did say he wanted to make Rayman 4, so whenever BG&E2 and Wild get finished, hopefully he'll start working on that. And hopefully they'll confirm him as a playable character for SSBU.

True, but I am 100% sure that we won't see a new Rayman for the next 4/5 years minimum. Michel Ancel isn't 100% of trust as he promised things that in the end they were never accomplished (or was all a lie). Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a new 3D Rayman title but it has been a 15 years wait and the company itself (not Montpellier studio's fault) has been clearly showing more concern to bring a new Assassin's Creed, Tom Clancy, Just Dance and a random game every year because, according to them, "platformers don't sell". Maybe Activision's reboots and Oddworld's first game remake might make Ubi reconsider their words said a few years ago as a justification for the scarce marketing efforts, dubious release date strategies and the whole ruckus around removing the exclusivity of Wii U for a multiplatform release. I am pretty sure this year is going to be the same thing as in others but I would like to be proven wrong.Β
