Backstory: She lived in the African savanna with her pack. Her father was the Alpha and being the eldest out of five siblings, she was the one to inherit the role as Alpha when she became of age. She was the head hunter and highly respected in the pack. But that changed when the Kaarang were flying over the savanna and gathering final test subjects to perfect the mutagen. They took her and several of her stronger pack members to one of their secret labs in New York, with a bunch of other animals from all around the world that they were experimenting with. Most of the experiments failed,resulting in the death of her captured pack members, but she on the other hand, gained human anatomy, intelligence, and the ability to speak. The Kaarang said she was a failed subject and threw her out onto the streets, they kept her alive because she was healthy enough to survive on her own. She traveled the alleys in search for coverings, and found a dumpster and the back of a fabric shop to create her minimal garments.

How She Met the Turtles: After lightly clothing herself, and finding scraps to eat, she crawled down into the sewers to avoid humans, whom her father always told her to fear. She was wandering the sewers and heard voices (obviously being the turtles) and hid in the shadows. While passing, Leo and Donnie knew someone was there and told her to come out weapons drawn. Amiera agreed to come out as long as they put their weapons away, and they agreed. When she came out they were all shocked. They asked her several questions like where she came from and how she got there and she answered all their questions willingly. They agreed to let her come back to the lair, even though Raph was a little hesitant. Splinter gladly welcomed her once they explained her situation.

Relationship with Turtles:

Leo- She likes Leo because she can relate to him. Having to be a leader and all, no one listening to you, but them both being leaders can sometimes lead to conflicts between them. But for the most part, they really get along well.

Donnie- Amiera secretly has a huge crush on Donatello, and is too embarrassed to admit it. She knows that Donnie already has a crush on April and she doesn't want to get in between that if Donnie doesn't feel the same way about her. She does spend a lot of time with him though and finds his company very relaxing.

Mikey- To Amiera, Mikey is like her little brother. She loves to tell him about her exciting times in the savanna and Mikey always listens. While Mikey returns the favor, by teaching her the ways of the city and helping her to adapt to the new surroundings.

Raph- Amiera likes to hang out with Raph, finding that working out with him helps her keep up her strength and skills. Amiera finds Raph to be a fun pal to be around, despite his anger issues. Raph also gives Amiera tips when she is training with her chosen weapons, a pair of daggers.

Fun Facts:

Amiera actually has a wave like birthmark on the right side of her torso. Her father said that it lasted through his family for generations and that it meant she had true strength, and power.

Before her mutation, and when she was with her pack, her father actually wanted her to choose out of the biggest, strongest, and best hunting males in the pack to be her mate. She actually had more interest in the more lean, and strategic males. She liked brains rather than brawn, which might explain part of her liking for Donatello.

Even though Amiera, has a human anatomy, she still has the ability to run on all fours if she wishes
