you should really do some animation tutorials, because i am using photoshop to animate now, and i would want some tips as to how i can get the smoothest movement like in ur animation. I was thinking of using vector lines so that the image would be sharper and i would be able to move the body parts easier. What is the best method for you?

Totally gonna use that kiss as a reference for my drawings. I've been looking for a good reference for a while now, 'cause I really want to draw that sweet moment for two characters of mine and ... well, this one is a perfect reference.

You should probably ask permissions first before doing that!!

I meant just for my sketchbook. I don't post drawings I used references for. That I would ask permission to do. I don't see why I can't look at something I see on my computer screen while I'm drawing. And besides, even in my sketchbook I write that I used references and sometimes even cite the source. Again, I wouldn't post a drawing I did using this as a reference without asking her permission first.

I know this is late, but...animators back in the day used cel animation...
A cel is a sheet of transparent cellulose acetate used as a medium for painting animation frames. It is transparent so that it can be laid over other cels and/or a painted background, then photographed. (Source: The Complete Animation Course by Chris Patmore.)

I mean with digital art it's easy, because you can just layer it over, but that makes sense, photographing a cell over a painted background. It took me a few times reading that over to finally get it, lol.Β
