Description Chilling.

Ursus arctos - Brown bear.
This photo was taken on the 26/4 - 2015.

I spent the day at Boras Zoo with my sister this day and I was waiting for my sister when I took this photo, because
she left me for a while. This bear, I think it's Teddy, was sitting on a stone by the water and I fell in love with this photo
when I saw in on the computer when I got home.

The four bear cubs; Teddy, Teo, Tim and Tuva were born last year and this was the last time I saw them. I think they
transferred to another zoo but I don't know which zoo or when they got moved, BUT Nora (the mother) and Rambo, (the father)
recently had three more cubs this year and I've got a lot of photos of them!

More photos of bears..

Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

This is a pretty good photo. From an aesthetics perspective, I like the posture of the bear. It makes it seem human like and the expression on its face makes it look thoughtful. I think one of the interesting aspects of photographing animals is that how often they end up looking so human. This helps us empthaise with them.

From a technical standpoint, it is a good photo but there are certain things which could have been done to make it a great photo. One off hemp is the richness of the colour. It seems a little drab. Maybe the sunlight could have been the factor. Also, the photo could have been cropped a bit to remove some of then useless information being provided to the viewer. For example, on the left and top part of the photo.

Overall, nice work. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

First of all, thank you very much for taking your time to write a critique.

I can understand that the photo may seem dull, especially when it comes to the colours and this photo is actually ongoing a new edit, so the new version will be up soon. However, I won't crop the left side of the image, I'd rather move it a bit more to the right, so there's a bit more information on the right side.
Otherwise the image might look a bit too cropped and I don't really want all the focal points to be in the middle

I will overview your critique when I do start the new edit of the photo and think about some of the stuff you pointed out. Thank you once again
